The
Jacksonville Ballet Theatre was founded in 1970 by
Ms. Dulce Anaya in order to train outstanding
professional and pre-professional ballet students.
Its purpose is to give Jacksonville
dancers the opportunity to participate in original choreographies
of full-length classical and modern works; present high-quality
ballet performances for the benefit of the community; and to
encourage appreciation for and enjoyment of the art of dance.
The Jacksonville Ballet Theatre acknowledges funding
by the Cultural Council and the City of Jacksonville
